About the Villa
Villa Thallos is situated on a plot of approximately 5.000m2 in Kato Gouves, with privacy, olive trees, lemon, orange and mandarin trees, herbaceous bushes of Crete, roses, pomegranates and other typical trees from Cretan flora.
Villa Thallos offers accommodation in Kato Gouves, just 600 meters from the beach and lies right in the middle of Crete which makes it easy to be used as a base for tours and excursions around Crete Island.
The City of Heraklion is 19 km away from the Villa, while Hersonissos is 5 km away. Heraklion International Airport is 17 km away from the property.
The Villa is developed on 2 levels:
The ground floor area of 78m2 features: fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, a living room with 2 large sofas (2+1 children can sleep), flat-screen satellite TV and CD player, 1 common bathroom with walk-in glass shower and 1 bedroom with a Super King size bed (180cm x 210cm) private bathrooom with walk-in glass shower and flat-screen satellite TV. You can exit to the courtyard from the living room.
The 2nd floor of a total area of 47m2 has 1 bedroom with a Queen size bed (160cm x 200cm), flat-screen satellite TV and sea view, 1 bedroom with bunk bed (90cm x 190cm) and a writing desk. There is also a common bathroom with shower.
The courtyards are developed on 3 levels:
- The level of entry with lawn, bushes and trees
- The level of fruit trees (lemon, orange, mandarin, etc.)
- The last level with olive trees and hennery. In this level you will find several chickens, cocks and if you are lucky you will get some fresh eggs.

I studied Business Administration and I am holder of an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the University of Augsburg (Germany). After working in Dubai and in Munich for a multinational company, I came back to Crete.
Currently, I am working for a Bank and I am supervisor for the Crete Hub. Additionally, I work as external Professor teaching courses on Business Administration and Sales. I speak English and German.
I live with my wife and we have 2 children. We are all admirers of nature, sea and good Crete food.
I firmly believe that coming to Crete and staying in a house is undoubtedly the best option to spend your holiday. Crete is a big island with several places to visit. Villa Thallos might be used as a base for tours and excursions around the island. Especially, traveling as a family, it is important to dine some days at the Villa and also to have the ability to prepare something little for the next day excursion.
I love to recommend my guests my favorite places, beaches, places to visit, places to eat. I enjoy the occupation of Villa Thallos because it gives me the opportunity to be in contact with multicultural guests. I really enjoy meeting different persons from different countries.

Our stay was luxurius and comfortable: This villa is decorated with a cozy and warm flare, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the outdoor spaces are also cozy and pleasant. The barbeque outside made our accomodation enjoyable, we had an amazing grill-night and dined at the external dining area under the stars. The surrounding area is quiet, so you have your privacy and can relax. The hosts Maria and Tasos are really very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay in Villa Thallos again!

Проживание на данной вилле оправдало наши ожидания. У нас был ранний прилет и хозяин виллы Тасос принял нас на вилле рано утром. Угостил вином, оливковым домашним маслом, выпечкой. Все рассказал, показал, сопроводил до магазина, где можно купить фермерские продукты: мясо, фрукты, овощи. Было очень приятно. На территории виллы растет инжир, Тасос нам разрешил им лакомиться, а также можно было срывать травку: мяту, орегано, мелиссу. Описание и фото виллы на booking.com соответствует действительности. До моря 7 минут пешком. Дорога не очень живописная, но зато на пляже мы были практически одни. Берег песчаный, кое где встречаются камешки. Тасос, Мария, Мама спасибо за наш чудесный отдых!

Περάσαμε ένα αξέχαστο διήμερο στη βίλα σας και σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ γι'αυτό! Η καθαριότητα, η άνεση και η ησυχία τη χαρακτηρίζουν. Ζεστή η φιλοξενία σας με άψογη εξυπηρέτηση και ευγένεια. Αξίζει να αναφέρω ότι η παραλία κάτω απο τη βίλα ήταν μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη για μας. Αμμώδης με πεντακάθαρα και σχετικά ρηχά νερά, μη οργανωμένη και με ελάχιστο κόσμο. Ανυπομονούμε να επιστρέψουμε σύντομα για περισσότερες μέρες διαμονής!

The experience of staying at the Villa Thallos is amazing. The welcome reception also included a bottle of wine and a homemade cake. The house is spacious, comfortable, and at the same time cozy. All rooms of the house are projected and executed with intelligence and love. The kitchen has everything that the most fastidious hostess can wish for. In front of the house is the lawn surrounded by greenery. Relax, sunbathe and play with your children. The barbecue area is beyond praise. There is the huge table for a large company. Near there is the comfortable shower with hot and cold water. The sea is six hundred meters from the Villa, the wonderful sandy beach was empty at the beginning of June.

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen
Die Villa war traumhaft gelegen. Alle Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt, tolle moderne Ausstattung. Durch die Terasse kann man auch abends hervorragend draußen sitzen. Es gab so viele durchdachte Details im Haus, wir fühlten uns wirklich willkommen und zu Hause. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Gastgeber sind verfügbar und hilfsbereit, einfach wundervolle Leute. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen!

Nuestro paso por isla fue mucho mejor de lo esperado gracias a Tasos. Nos vino a recoger al aeropuerto y nos dejó alli el día que nos volvimos, eso fue un gesto increible e inesperado. La casa está nueva y en una zona super tranquila. Muy cómoda y sobretodo muy limpia.Tienes acceso a todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones perfectas. Cerca de la casa tienes un montón de restaurantes y la playa está a 10 mins andando!!! Recomiendo alquilar un coche por las distancias.
